The Messages window displays messages that are produced by Rocket Science when you perform various operations such as adding an HTML file to your project or uploading the project to a server. Error messages are displayed in red. If Rocket Science detects possible errors in one of your source files (such as an invalid HTML tag or a broken hypertext link) and you are using our HyperText X/Press editor as your HTML aditor, you can double-click on the error message to go directly to the offending line in your source code.

In addition to error messages, Rocket Science produces informational messages that can be used to troubleshoot complicated transactions like FTP and Telnet log-ins, as well as debugging messages that can be used by the Rocket Science technical support staff to track down specific problems. Informational messages are displayed in black.

You can use the View pulldown menu on the Messages window menu bar to select the types of messages you want to display.
